Another Movie Worth SeeingAugust 5, 2009
This one is “I hope they Serve Beer in Hell,” which hits theaters September 25th.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with the fratire of Tucker Max, go out and pick yourself up a copy of “I hope they Serve Beer in Hell.” The book is a collection of Tucker’s stories from his younger days and during his time in Law School. Most of his stories involve forays in drinking an,d general debauchery. My three favorite stories are Sushi Pants, Absinthe Donuts and the Austin Road Trip, but those are just the tip. Depending your opinion this book could be real, but no one would think otherwise if there was some embellishment. To quote Tucker Max directly “The bigger the lie, the more likely people are to believe it.”
Either way his stories are beyond hilarious and hopefully the movie is of equal hilarity. It also looks like he’ll have a second book coming out in early 2010 called “Assholes Finish First.”

[UPDATE] via Tucker’s website, he announced special premiere dates around the country so you can see the movie before it goes nationwide. The closest to our area is in Madison on September 13th. Get your tickets here.
