Found: Travis Jervey Packers Jersey
May 4, 2010I took a recent trip to Rice Lake, WI (yeah ha) about a month ago and had some time to kill so I popped into the area’s Goodwill and found this rare treasure:
Thats right. Its a Travis Jervey jersey.
Former Citadel standout, 1995 Packers 5th round draft pick and Pro Bowl kick returner. He was part of the Super Bowl XXXI winning team. He also played for the 49ers and Falcons.
He played in 109 games and his career stats include 129 Carries for 503 yards and 2 touchdowns, 10 Receptions for 35 yards and 36 kick returns for 843 yards.
I’ve heard it’s worth something because of it’s rarity/obscurity. If you can find a name obscure Packers player with a jersey, do it. Also, does anyone know what Travis is up to now?
If someone is actually willing to buy this jersey, I’d probably be willing to trade it for a few Packers tickets, but you’ll need to make me an offer I can’t refuse. Its a 48 L Starer replica.
